Although I was not there physically; but my soul was striking and protesting there all the time of the revolution.
Actually Tahrir square becomes symbolic for everything good in Egypt. During clashes between pro Mubark and pro freedom, I had mixed feelings, it was a defining moment in Egyptian Awareness; it was a conflict between all that is noble and distinguished in my country and all that is bad and destructive. It was a moment of a difficult birth of hope, freedom and liberation from the shackles of corruption and injustice and discrimination. At this moment, corruption and bribery and bullying, it was defying freedom birth. Believe me, I wished I was a stone that one of a heroes of freedom throws on the heads of the aggressors; I wished I was a shield to protect the advocates of truth, goodness and beauty against the bullets of treachery and oppression. Tahrir Square at this moment told me that alienation is painful and it is so scary to be away from home when it is in dire need of you; and it told me how much I love Egypt and how pretty she is.
